Thimgan Hayden paints the portrait, figure, landscape and still life with a unique style reminiscent of a european master. She works in oils and drawing mediums using only the finest quality archival materials. Her work is moody, tranquil and mysterious. Artist's Statement: "To be touched by art is to double our awareness; to be touched anew by the experience of existence which gives us such form, such light, such spirit. I intend my paintings to become objects of contemplation and then to grow into old friends, beautiful in their familiarity."
